Trash & Recycling

The HOA does not pay for trash and recycling services.  Each household is billed individually for these services by the HOA's contracted provider, Titan Recycle & Trash.  If you are new to our subdivision, you should contact Titan through the sign-up page on their website to start your service.

Both trash and recycling are picked up weekly on Wednesdays. However, if Christmas Day or New Year's Day falls on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday, our pickup day will be on Thursday that week. Other holidays will not affect our pickup schedule.

Recycling materials go in the containers with the all-blue lids. Trash containers have either a black lid or a black "T" or "Trash" written on the lid. Please have both containers at the curb by 7:00 a.m. on Wednesdays. If it's more convenient, you can set your containers by the curb on Tuesday evenings, preferably after 5:00 p.m.

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND:
  • Household trash must be bagged and tied.
  • Small pet waste bags should be combined into a regular trash bag to prevent breakage.
  • Yard waste may be placed in your regular trash container or in another container without being bagged. However, cactus, thorns, broken glass or any other sharp object must be safely contained and labeled to prevent injury to Titan's workers.
  • Titan will remove additional landscape materials, tree trimmings, trash bags, etc., so long as materials are bundled, bagged or otherwise contained and are of a reasonable size and nature -- subject to the discretion of the Titan truck supervisor. Additional materials are limited to two (2) additional bags or bundles.
  • Tree limbs must not be larger than 4 inches in diameter or 4 feet in length.
  • Metal and plastic caps and lids are accepted for recycling, but they should be placed back on the plastic or glass containers they came with. (Be sure to rinse out food containers and lids first.)

PROHIBITED ITEMS:
  • Loose pet waste.
  • Hazardous materials: oil (including cooking oil), automotive fluids, medical waste, flammable materials, fluorescent bulbs, lithium or automotive batteries, paint, liquids, any other toxic waste.
  • Bulk items such as furniture, appliances, etc. (except during a once-a-year bulk item pickup day which will be announced).
  • Construction materials, including but not limited to: concrete, bricks, tile, rocks, flooring, drywall, lumber, or steel.
  • Landscaping or other materials generated by a paid contractor or landscaper.

VACATION HOLD:
To request a vacation hold (which must be for 30 days or more), it's best to use the customer self-service portal on Titan's website. You should provide at least one week's advance notice to suspend or reinstate service. If you are unable to use the customer self-service portal, you can email amanda@titantrash.biz or call 520-382-1009. One vacation hold per year is free; any additional holds incur a $15 charge.
